Brian’s primary focus is high-net-worth client wealth management and retirement plan consulting. He serves his clients honestly and objectively and works diligently to help them reach their financial goals.

Background and Credentials

Prior to entering the financial services industry in 1997, Brian was a commissioned infantry officer in the U.S. Army,  serving in domestic and overseas duty stations where he earned the Army’s Ranger Tab and Senior Parachutist Badge. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy, where he graduated in the top 5% of students.

Brian began his financial services career in 1997 with Merrill Lynch and moved to The Rohrbaugh Group in 2000. Brian worked in this group as Prudential Securities became Wachovia Securities and, ultimately, Wells Fargo Advisors. He and his business partner, Jonathan Freeman, formed McCarver Freeman Wealth Management in August 2009, which is the predecessor of Stonebridge Financial Group. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst™ designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association, after completing educational requirements held at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Away From the Office

Brian married his high school sweetheart, Heidi, after college graduation and they have three sons, Beau, Liam and Rhys. After serving our country, Brian and his family moved back to the area where they both grew up and are privileged to live near their parents. Heidi homeschools their children, Brian enjoys outdoor and sporting activities with his boys, and they are all involved in numerous community and church related events.
