Achievement Secures Spot Among Distinct Class of Wealth Management Firms
Stonebridge Financial Group, LLC announced today that it has hit $1 billion in assets under advisement – an achievement few advisory firms can claim. The firm reached this goal less than one year after its 2018 merger with Gettysburg-based Ferrara Kampstra Wealth Management, which brought a second office, five employees, and $175 million in assets under advisement to the firm.
“We are proud to reach this milestone and credit it to our exceptional advisors and staff, who leverage wealth management strategies cultivated over the past 40 years to deliver compelling, customized investment solutions for each of our clients,” said Jonathan Freeman, director of Stonebridge Financial Group. “Their commitment to always place our clients’ interests at the forefront of everything we do, combined with a reinvestment in our firm, our people and our technology, got us to this point and has positioned us for sustainable growth into the future.”
Stonebridge Financial Group designs portfolios using low-cost investment vehicles such as individual stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and institutional share class mutual funds. Portfolio strategies are built from a menu that is monitored on a daily basis and implemented for clients on an individualized basis according to their goals, risk tolerance, and holistic financial plan.
“Another factor that greatly contributed to our growth is our expertise helping small to medium-sized professional practices optimize the use of their corporate retirement plans. Recent tax law changes and retirement plan design modifications have created an unparalleled opportunity for successful business owners to maximize tax-deferred savings,” said Brian McCarver, director of Stonebridge Financial Group. “Our combined wealth management and retirement plan consulting expertise has attracted the attention of a number of successful small to medium-sized business owners.”
Respect, transparency, integrity, and relationships are the foundation of the firm and the underpinning of a vibrant corporate culture that brings the human factor back to investing. Stonebridge is committed to the central Pennsylvania community and provides expertise, time and resources to local and national organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, Girls on the Run of the Capital Region, and the Adams County Community Foundation.
