Brian McCarver has always believed in the value of service – to his country, to his family and friends, and to his clients, whose trust he has earned by displaying qualities such as honesty, integrity, and objectivity. Brian has seen firsthand how planning today can give you a better life tomorrow.
This interest in working with and for people drew Brian to the financial services industry. With closing on three decades of experience, he enjoys providing high-net-worth client wealth management and retirement plan consulting that will help clients enjoy their retirement years and achieve their dreams.
After attending the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduating in the top of his class in 1992, Brian became a commissioned infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He served domestically and overseas, earning the Army’s Ranger Tab and Senior Parachutist Badge.
In 1997, Brian entered the financial services industry, starting with Merrill Lynch and later moving to The Rohrbaugh Group. After nine years, McCarver and partner Jonathan Freeman formed McCarver Freeman Wealth Management, now known as Stonebridge Financial Group.
Brian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional and earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association after completing educational requirements held at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. As one of the managing directors of Stonebridge, Brian is a member of Stonebridge’s Investment Committee and helps determine the community partnerships of the organization as well.
Brian and his high school sweetheart, Heidi, married after college graduation. Heidi provides community support by helping with various charities. They have three adult sons who enjoy pursuing sporting and outdoor activities with Brian. The entire family participates in community and church-related events together.
